I am a native Californian, born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I am a lifelong reader of fantasy and science fiction; one of the earliest books I can remember reading was "The Spaceship Under the Apple Tree".

I love any activity that includes family time with Stacy, my wife and best friend of 34 years, and our 4 children and 4 grandkids

I love photography, especially aviation photography, and any airshow I can get to that features the Thunderbirds or the Blue Angels

My dream throughout my childhood was to become a test pilot. My health got in the way, but I have taken some pilot lessons and have gone skydiving. I hope to go paragliding next.

My current goal is to section off part of my garden and use it to grow all sorts of mints. Currently I am only growing spearmint, pineapple mint, and bee balm.

I love spending time with my growing family and especially love being a grandma.

I also enjoy watching sports, going to concerts, traveling and anything Disney.

Thursday night date night conversations with my beautiful wife Julie (married for 26 years and counting)

Dinking, driving, and dropping shots on the Pickleball courts with my family of six children (especially my youngest son Adam who is a beast on the court)

I enjoy learning languages, especially Chinese

I am an advocate for neurodivergent individuals

I love the outdoors - hiking, camping, fishing, etc. I have pet dogs, cats, and koi fish.

I am also a chemist.

I often go on 10-mile bike rides at night after the sun has gone down, year-round in warm or cold weather.

My wife and I met over our mutual love or Star Wars. Each of our 3 children are subtly named after Star Wars characters.

I love to sail, especially the tropics

My wife and I have been married 32 years and have 4 kids and 3 grandkids
